I think the CHTS just failed causing the temp gauge to stop working, the AC to stop working, and a 'Engine Temp Data Error' in message screen along with check engine warning light. The CHTS is located under the upper maifold and I dont have time to fix it before a 300 mile drive tomorrow. Question: do I risk damaging the engine by driving it with CHTS not working? I'm just not sure what other systms are impacted by this sensor. Thanks if you can help.

It isn't that hard. you just remove the alternator and serpbelt for access and you can reach it. I don't forsee any damage from driving it. The computer is pretty good at failure management.
