Put the $$ to an extended warranty :)

Can't really talk though. As soon as my f150 (18 3.5 eco) was out of factory I tuned it. Did Bilstein and helwig suspension while under warranty though.

I just did the 5* on my truck. Crazy gains. The expy (22 like you) is already fast enough for family hauler.

LOL. I really want it to feel least of a boat. And a little less turbo lag.

The thermostat isn’t really going to do anything, but otherwise seems like a great list.

Killer list! She’d be a runner for sure!!

I haven’t heard much about downpipes but know some of the early eco’s love them.

Also worth noting there are always turbos if your feeling froggy…

That mod list certainly will accomplish that! Honestly, if that's all your looking to do, then a custom tune and maybe the IC to keep intake temps down and consistent is all you'd need power wise. 100% agree with Hellwig upgrades.
Maybe my definition of "soon" is different than you or you drive ALOT, but at 22k mi and a 22 my you still have plenty warranty left on the 60k/5y powertrain factory warranty. The bumper to bumper is only 3y 36k.

purchase was 5/22 so in a few months the main warranty will be over. Car has been mechanically sound. I drive MWF from rochester to syracuse, about 170 miles round trip. I use my bmw 440 6 speed primarily. Mostly for gas costs. The expedition was family hauler, but I continue to enjoy a little every time I drive it. I love the space and the height of the car. I would use it more if it had a little more pep and less wiggle. I dont want to go crazy on the car, but the performance shop said doing once was much more cost effective. I thinking now no thermostat. what about bov?

Unless you want the cool noise, even with a tune I don't think there would be a performance benefit with the stock turbos. Intake will also do more noise than gains, even with a tune. Especially in the RPM range your in most the time. I went with a AEM dry drop in on my F150 after much researching. Now upgrade the turbos and that's where intake, bov, downpipes are going to start actually being utilized/needed. You'll probably get slightly faster spooling, with what you want to do, but having the stock expy limited (which has a slight factory tune over XLT models) and the tuned F150 with essentially the same drivetrain, the tune alone increased the response dramatically.

Don't get me wrong, I love mods, just trying to help you save some cash on things you won't utilize from a performance perspective, and offer my experience with a tuned 3.5 eco. I'm by no means an expert, but I've spent lots of hours researching, and my expy is the first car I've ever owned I haven't done some sort of performance mods on.
In the end you do what makes you happy.

Yes I love cruising in the expy for the same reasons. I also have a German I daily, 2020 Audi S4 which I've finished suspension and will be starting engine upgrades soon. That and the F150 are my toys.

$650 to install all that? Thats a friggin steal man! Shop rates in my area are nutso! The only thing on this list I wouldn't try to do myself would be the down pipes and maybe the front sway.
But at $650, hell someone else can get dirty!

I've heard good things about MPT. I run 5 Star 91 Perf (only get 92 oct in my area) in the truck. They were fast and responsive, and I've had 0 issues.

Shop is in Rochester NY, they usually do race car fabrication and race prep for cars at watkins glen track up here. This is a nothing job for them. they said 30 minutes for sway bars, 2 for the intercooler and 1 for plugs. BOV is a simple swap. Im lucky to have them here

I ended up doing the thermostat and BOV because the cost was low and install time from the shop guy said less than 15 minutes for them, when they are doing the intercooler and intake exposure.

Can't wait for your reviews, especially on the handling.. Been looking at the Hellwig myself. Love it on my F150. No doubt that thing will be a rocket and be able to stay a rocket for long periods with the cooling you've added.
