I need help I have a 2003 ford expedition 2wd. I've been having this grinding noise only when I turn my vehicle to the left. I 've had the wheel barring replaced but the noise remains.. Took to Midas and they found nothing wrong, but heard the grinding!!! What could be wrong???

Have you verified the noise with you outside the vehicle and someone else driving it? Where is the noise coming from? What side wheel bearing was replaced? The reason I ask is that the right side wheel/tire takes more of a strain on left turns.

The grinding is coming from the left driver side..If my car is st8 going down a street, you dont hear the noise. Its only when I either slightly turn wheel to left or turn left period. You really hear the grinding when the wheel is coming back to center after the turn. I had the left wheel barring replaced but noise is still there..Midas said the only thing they see wrong is a couple grooves on a rotor that really dont need replaced. The truck only has 72,000 miles on it..

Take some jack stands and lift the front end up (on stand on each side). Spin the tires by hand, both when wheels are straight and turned (turn the key to ACC so steering won't lock.)
