So, I've been upgrading my 2005 with some of the tech I used on my diesel Ram. What's the average highway mpg everyone is experiencing? If it's anywhere above 22 mpg, then I am not seeing any gain from my experiment. If it's not then I've gain 20-30% from the MOD I've done.

I get around 16-18 with my 03' 5.4L on highway and that's driving carefully or in cruise control

I just took a 350 mile road trip and didn't think to reset the trip mileage. Probably would not have been a good judge anyway as I was doing 80-85 on the way out and was stuck in bumper stop and go traffic for almost two hours going home.

What modifications did you perform?

I incorporated a .75 gph water injection system, the nozzle I used really itemized the water to the point of looking like a morning fog. I also felt the tq increase and how quite the engine runs.

I have a one gl tank thus far, hence the one hour test I did. A six gl tank is being installed for longer range.
