Man time for a dash cam, rear cam, and side cams. Sorry. Glad he didn’t wreck your modded headlights :)

Funny you mention the dash cam because I've been looking but haven't pulled the trigger on anything yet

If you weren’t already aware, those chrome wheel overlays are glued on to be permenent and there are no OEM or aftermarket replacements. On a positive note, that’d make a fantastic matching spare.

Hope you spot the guy in the area some time...

If the damage warrants it, check your insurance. A hit and run might fall under a no deductible comprehensive claim. Do we have any insurance agents, or claim reps online here that could clarify if I was correct? Or is our friend on the hook for his deductible?

probably depends on the state ins laws. My wife got sideswiped in her Milan, the guy kept going. 7K in damage it was covered, no deductible either. she had no plate number on him he was long gone

but Michigan is a no fault state

Here in MA I would be responsible for the deductible and will see a surcharge of the damage exceeds 2,000. The damage is no where near that but still stinks for the deductable to come out of my pocket. I'll probably just replace the bumper cover and wheel myself.

I had to stomach the repair on a Lincoln mark 7 I had years back. Was a cherry car, some drunk fool clipped my drivers door. Because of the year/ value, they wanted to total car. I ended up fixing myself. Insurance companies like casinos never lose!
