How long has it taken you?

Hello all. I'm pretty new to the forum and I haven't posted any pics of my expy on here cuz it's pretty sad compared to the ones I see on here. That being said, I was wondering how long did it take for some of you to get your expy in the shape it is currently in? Also what shape was it in when you got it. Thanks everyone. I really love this forum and all the help it has given me so far.

It depends on how much money you can throw at it and how fast you can do it. At my current rate, it will take me years.

I bought mine in dec... it was stock... ive added new tail lights, headlights, fog, tires, racing intake , custom paint under my hood... there are still lots more to do... i went a couple months with nothing added

i've had mine since 11-05. In 06 put k&n fipk($150??) and spin tech catback($500) and limo tint on rear 5 and dark on front 2($120). Put my system in, in 07 2-12 bravox, 1000w amp and a pioneer HU($800). 07 ex wife put f150 wheels and tires on it($300 my money). Just bought 285/70/17 on in jan 12 ($620). about to put a spacer lift on it.

I think I was lucky for a 1997 mine seems to be in pretty good shape. Only thing I have had to do is fixed the radio and replace the air filter and a missing clamp. I may do more still toying with a few aftermarket ideas...
