inside molding around rear hatch

how does the plastic molding at the rear hatch come off? the rear windshield washer is leaking inside the vehicle at the rear side window. 2014 Expedition

they just pry off. Just be careful and take your time they will just pop right off. Use a plastic scraper or prybar to get them started

Before you go crazy taking the molding off, remove the third brake light and pull out the washer tubing as far as it will go and look for breaks in the tube. It might be as easy as just cutting the tubing at the break and sticking in a piece of brass tubing. Just a thought.

Lol "third row brake"... Center high mount stop light. Two screws, super easy to remove, check the connections, put it back together.

the leak is just where the headliner starts and the plastic molding stops above the large rear window.

I did not know what a third row brake was either.

I went back and corrected the original post. Sorry for the confusion. Sometimes the fingers don't always type what the brain is thinking. :)
