My wife was driving her 98 expedition and the AWD, 4L, 4H, and washer lights illuminated on and off periodically.
It turns out that the key ring was loaded with trinkets and such and it was stuck just enough in the start position to activate the start up sequence.
At least that is my take on it. It is one of the things that my service manual said to check.
Has anyone else had this problem?
