i love the way your expy looks. you only have 1 inch on me (i only have 4" susp) but it looks much bigger than mine. you wont be able to put a 6" susp lift on for 800 bucks unless you find it all used and do the work yourself. i have debated the same thing over and over, to remove the 4" and put on the 6" but i just cant bring myself to spend that money yet...

want a locker arb made one finally. or limited slip or a detroit. thats ur options. im getting a detroit once i get the money. and maybe an arb in the front just so i can have the air supply too. but i like the lift you have. looks like what i want to do for now. minus the body lift. for you wider rims wider tires and a locker would be all you need. a roof rack would be nice too. but isnt there enough storage in the back? just asking.

thanx man. i will try to post up some more pics of it this weekend. the rancho lift that i have is just a 4" suspension lift made by rancho. you buy it all in a kit. not too familiar with the truxx lift, but its like the fabtech, just shorter. if that helps you.

Does the 4" rancho lift clear the 35's alot or barely? Saw a trailmasrer 5" on line for$ 1500. Think the truck would drive better with more suuspension. Has anybody attempted install of suspension lift themselves? Can't see spending another grand on labor.

the 5" would be great for 35's. i have plenty of room the only time that i rub is when im offroading and im at extreme angles (check the offroading thread i have in show and tell). as for installing it yourself, it can be done if you have all the tools. but it will be a bit of a headache, at least the first time doing it. expect at least 2 good days worth of work. its almost worth the 1K for someone else to deal with it and WARRANTY it!

agreed! jeeps are a pain to lift 2". but a expo with ifs is more of a pain cause theres a drop down bracket for the lower control arm that either needs to be welded or bolted into place. and thats the big pain if it needs to be welded in. the rear is the easy part for expos. the front is the head ache and the fact to know that you have a heavy monster on top of you if something were to happen. i would just take it in and pay the extra 1g and only if theres a warrenty!
