Yes, 3rd Gen EL

Sidenote: IDIOTS!!!!

78 lbs of plant material in trunk and they piled an EL to the roof????

Geez.... try letting the air out of them bags first maybe???

Separate props for driving a vehicle where the police do NOT need permission to search the trunk, all to smuggle a fairly SMALL quantity of nearly-legalized substances....

What's the penalty for this kinda wholesale for distribution haul? 25 to life?

I've always thought paying a retiree in a mercury marquise (huge trunk) would be the safest way to transport things they don't want the police to see. No one even notices these drivers doing the speed limit or below in the right lane. LOL

That's what happens when you smoke some of your cargo before a road trip. Sounds like something out of a Cheech and Chong movie.

Cheech & Chong....that's what I thought of too since I recently saw one of their old movies (I've got an HD antenna so I get 50 year old television). I'm glad "money" has never been too much of a motivator for me because I have done plenty of stupid stuff for things that were.....not quite in the same Darwinian-stupid league these guys are in though.....LOL For instance, it's a nice looking truck that they just gave to the State....plus their cash is gone, so is their Freedom and the possibility now exists for them to have their sexual horizons expanded.....hmmm, at some point, they may realize this was not the product of a good series of decisions!!

Honestly, they would have smelled it if driving behind. When we went to the "dispensary" while we were in Las Vegas last Fall just for fun. Our Uber driver left us off on the corner of the block and we noticed the VERY heavy smell from the unburned weed that was inside the building, 100 feet away! It was nearly overpowering and was very easy to smell.

FWIW- those seal-a-meal bags that they vacuum packed their weed in? That didn't do a thing to stop the smell. Plastic does not contain weed odors, we learned this in the 70's they needed to use foil-lined..........I wasn't always a model citizen.

LOL - It's been 34 years since I last participated in that particular vice so the statute of limitation has long since expired. When I met my wife she wouldn't let me do it any more. When I was a kid, I had a hollow speaker in my stereo system where I kept my stash. I could smell it even when it was double bagged. I never tried aluminum foil. :D

Pretty sure that truck didn’t go to the state. If it was a rental, it would go back to the rental car company no?

Actually, most States now have a ....i think it's called..."forfeiture of assets" used in the commission of a crime. His lease agreement requires him to pay back the rental company.

Pretty sure this applies in Indiana too....but I certainly could be wrong....here in MD, that truck would be auctioned and cash in the State coffers.

NOTHING in that movie was funnier than when Cheech was doing the screaming girl in the van.....and the line of entertainers signed up for the event, clapped as he exited the van....true tv classic!

Yeah Andy, you might want to not go there....don't think that a cellmate would suit you buddy......

As for the muffins....Kerry is desperately trying to get me used to more than Steak & Capt Crunch cereal....before we get married.....
