I own a 2022 and recently, rear left blinker is not working. It is blinking fast. I took it to the dealership for diagnosis and I was told that there is a short linked to the third brake, and they wanted me to charge 1k to replace it. I have searched about that issue and did not find any other post related to the left blinker and the third brake light. I removed the third brake light and issue was still occurring. Now, here is where things get crazy: previously I was "able to fix" the problem by tuning the wheel to the right, and then activating the left light, at least it worked 3 times, but by some reason it is not working now. Can you brainstorm/help to understand if there is an actual relation with the third brake and the rear blinker? If that is the case, I will replace that light. Note that the third brake light works fine. thanks!

From the description of turning the steering wheel and then activating the left turn light to 'fix' the issue, that sounds like the clockspring is having/causing a short. But that would be incredibly fast for it to fail on a '22.

It very well may be your signal flasher? They work off resistance. So, if your bulb is getting weak or has a bad connection, due to corrosion, the flasher will not get the proper resistance and blink faster. This also occurs when someone changes their turn signal bulb from regular to led bulbs. The lesser resistance will cause the bulb to blink faster.

What @Mr Big said.
Check the ground connection on the brake light.

thanks for your responses, guys. Technician at the dealership was the one that pointed to the Third brake light. Something that I did was removing the third light momentarily and issue persisted. Checked the bulb itself and looked fine. Now, throwing here something weird that I found just to see if that makes any sense. Previously I mentioned that, turning the wheel right and activating the turn left light fixed the problem twice (this is not working anymore). But today, I noticed that, if I am driving at very slow speed (2-3 Mph) and activate the cruise control, it will set it to 15 Mph! I am not new to Ford, and what it is expected is that, at low speeds, just activate it without setting the speed. Do you think that this fault would be related to the blinker? This thing about the cruise being set it is kind of scary!

I have the same issue with my 2021. No voltage at the socket, no voltage at the connector. Does anyone know the next point where I can test it upstream or where the output originates? I'm assuming that it's a broken wire somewhere. Mine is also the left rear blinker.

You guys ever get any answers on this? My 22 left rear blinker just went out and I'm getting the fast blink. About to dive into it.

Have you checked the fuses? If your Expedition has a factory-installed LED taillight assembly, the entire assembly has to be replaced. On some the backup bulb can be replaced. That's how my 2019 Platinum is. I replaced the halogen backup bulbs with LED. If you have a halogen taillight assembly, there is a possibility you can replace the bad bulb.
