Was looking at rough country lift 3” with upper arms and like how the rear centers tire. Everyone says ride is horrible. I see they have a better gas strut you can buy. Has anyone tried it to see if it’s a lot more smoother. For everybody doing readylift 3/2 do the ball joints hold up? I know on the ford f150 without upper arms on spacer lift seems to take out the ball joints. Thanks in advance for replying

The front end is mostly carryover from the F150. It's likely you'll see issues with the ball joints at some point. If you want comfort and good engineered parts I'd suggest the Icon 2.5 coilover kit. Icon has a full kit that includes new upper A arms for lifted heights. I run Icons at the lowest setting on my fronts (~0.75-1 inch lift) and Bilstien 5100 rears one notch above stock (~0.8 inch lift) to get a little lift running 33s.

Icon says their kits are for up to 2020 but Ford has not changed suspension design through 2024 so it will bolt right in.
