Possibly blocked oil pick up tube (caused by timing chain tensioner pieces stuck in screen)?

Oil pressure sendor is on the fritz?

DO NOT DRIVE THE EXPEDITION ANYMORE,
You will cause more and more damage running dry.

no matter what the cause is, the bottom end of your engine has to be inspected, could be as simple as Tom said, could be a failing pump, could be much worse like a worn out crankshaft bearings casing oil to slip past the oil passages, either way if you're not doing the work this repair is going to be very expensive... simple problem or new engine it's going to be expensive labor wise just to get the bottom opened up enough for an inspection.
