Hey all! Over the weekend, I took a trip to the junkyard in search of more loot. I figured I’d report back with my haul.

I went out there in the first place to check out these 2007 Limited seats. I’ve always been a fan of the two-tone black and brown seats on these 2007s. If these were in better shape, I would’ve taken them to swap into my 2011 EL Limited.

Hard to tell in person, but the seats had more wear than I would’ve liked. Another issue was the 2nd row; my 2011 has heated 2nd row seats, this 2007 did not. So that would’ve taken some extra doing to adapt to mine. Begrudgingly, I ended up leaving them.

Around the corner, I ran into this 2012 Navigator L. I notice it has the Ultimate package (chrome delete/monochrome lower grille and door cladding)

I ended up getting a 2nd row center console, THX sound D-pillar panels w/rear speakers, and an OEM remote start kit from the Navigator. I also ended up getting some random interior trim pieces for my 05 Crown Vic (and one singular WeatherTech mat for my girlfriend’s Honda)

This kit plugs into the green connector up behind the power pedals switch near the steering column. I need to source fobs and get them programmed by the dealership.

Continued…

Here is the Navigator 2nd row console mocked up between my 2nd row captain’s chairs. I got two 2nd row bench outboard seats from another 2011 Limited a while back, I might have posted about it then, but I don’t remember. Those are needed because the armrests interfere with the Navigator console lid.

Now, about swapping stuff around…

This is the Navigator’s 2nd row with the console and brackets removed.

And this is a 2nd row bench Expedition with the middle seat removed. Notice the holes are all the same, but the Navigator only uses four holes vs the Expedition seat, which is held in with seven bolts.

Obviously, swapping an existing bench seat car to the Navigator console will leave some holes in the carpet exposed. But the rumors are true, all Expeditions and Navigator floors are drilled the same for every seating configuration.
