I've been looking in to the building of and suv for a while and finally figured out my game plan and what I wanted in a vehicle. So what I came up with is a lifted 2000 2wd expedition xlt. Now before I catch grief about the 2wd part I am a certified diesel mechanic and I own my own shop and I've owned as many types of cars and trucks as you can imagine from corvettes to low riders and newer lifted 4wd f150s so I liked the lifted truck scene but 4wd was a hassle especially the vacuum lines that operate the locking hubs and all that mess that I rarely used so on to the truck! It's got a 10.5" lift. 7.5" f150 suspension lift in the front, 6" 4wd expedition lift in the rear (all fabtech), 3" pa body lift. The wheels and tires are 22x10 red dirt road rd01 with 37x13.50r22 Atturo trail blades. I really look forward to getting some of your advice on further projects!

How's the "get up and go" with those 37s? I've been eyeing some 35s and a small body lift but I don't know if I also should do gears to counteract the larger tires. I regeared my Explorer and have been happy.
