Just rev’s when trying to go into third gear and won’t go into third or fourth.

I have never had any issues with the transmission at all and I was just driving and all of the sudden it went from driving to just revving . 1 and 2 fear shift perfect. No lights are on on the dash.

Hate to say it, but this is a relatively simple diagnosis.

Check your transmission fluid; if it's low, find the leak and fill it up. If not, make arrangements for a transmission rebuild/replace.

Just out of curiosity, how many miles? Also, when was the transmission last serviced?

Truck has 170k miles but trans was replaced at 100k and serviced every 10k miles

Holy crap, you would certainly expect better than that for a fresh build with 70k. Most rebuilders don't warrant them that long, but I would have a conversation and see what they can do for you.

Assuming, of course, it isn't low on fluid.

Check out this from FordTechMakuLoco. If everything else is good, there is a decent chance it could be this. If it is, fairly simple fix actually and the parts are cheap.

Good video, but that has to do with repairing the overdrive solenoid, and the symptoms as a loss of only fourth gear. If the OP also lost third gear, the problem is deeper than that.
