I know I know, the same old gripe. I'm not expecting 30mpg or something, but I'd like close to what Ford says.
So I've got a 2010 Expedition EL Limited (2wd) and my mpg is all over the place. I'm not truly concerned about city milage (but an incrrase would be nice, but I already get 14-15), but my highway just drops.
Driving 60-70, I get 17mpg (display says 18.2)
Driving 75-80, display says 16.4 (idk actual, kind of scared to figure it out).
Ford says I should be getting 20, so it would be nice to get closer to that.
I drive very conservatively, so it's not my driving style, and my tires are stock size (though aggressive all terrains), and fully inflated.
I'm not sure if the plugs and injectors have been replaced (111k miles), so I'll be doing that soon. But if it runs well as is, could they drain mpg without showing an issue?
Side note, I want to replace the air filter, but that damn little electric plug won't unclip, and I don't want to break it. Tips?
