Lane Keeping Alert

All of the sudden, there is no more alert with my lane keeping system. It assists, but no more steering wheel vibration. The settings are set to assist and warn, and you can adjust the warning intensity and feel the steering wheel vibrate.

Just wanted to see if anyone else noticed this before I take it to the dealer.

Ever? Or occasionally? Sometimes mine just won’t do anything, I hit the button to turn it on and off and it resets.

Mines works well, too well at times. I turned the assist off, sometimes depending on speed, the wheel will "kick" while vibrating. If anything it wakes you up lol. Have you played with the customizations?

It does seem a little hit and miss in general.. I've had it not vibrate on occasion as well.

Don't have this in my Expedition but do on other vehicles and believe speed is a factor. I'll get the nudge at highway speeds, but not on 4 lanes where its traffic is heavy and speeds are low, like 45MPH. which initially made me think something was broken.

Is your camera reading the lines? Alot of times either the lines arent read or it recovers after giving me a warning.

The Ford system only works above 40mph. But I agree it's a little hit-and-miss. Sometimes I get a vibration, other times I get a vibration followed by a nudge, sometimes it's just a nudge with no preceding vibration, sometimes it's seemingly none of the above.
