I have a new (used) 2023 xlt max. On a long trip, we enabled the Lane keeping system (aid plus alert) and find it woefully inadequate (at highway speed). There is rarely or barely any feedback and only occasionally does it try to move us back into the lane. The system shows green on the dash, and the side lines will turn red as we wander.

On other similar vintage vehicles from kia, Toyota, and Nissan, the respective systems are much more responsive and will actually keep you in the lane if you wander out. Is the ford system particularly weak, or is ours just broken?

Expedition Limited's and some packaged XLTs (not all) have lane keeping assist. The easiest way to tell is when you have cruise control on, see if there is a blue "halo" around the front of the vehicle on the instrument cluster. That means lane keeping assist is enabled and that will actually turn the wheel for you. If you just have lane departure warning, then the wheel just vibrates and the blue lines turn red, it doesn't actually assist in any way, just warns if you are wandering out of your lane.

My 24 Max Limited stays in the lane as if it were on rails at any speed.
