I have a 2021 Max FX4. Will be doing some beach driving, and want bigger tires. I've settled on doing Bilsteins all around (all at the max 1.6" lift) instead of the Readylift 3/2.

What's the largest tire diameter I can run with the Bilsteins without having to mess with anything else?

Do you already have the Bilsteins? I had to wait 6 months for the 5100s to come in after ordering for my 15 EL (ordered in October 2020, installed May 1, 2021, traded in for 21 limited max September 2021). New one has CCD, so readylift is only option for me now, but I am definitely going to wait a bit before touching the suspension.

I ended up ordering from sellers on ebay who supposedly have them in stock. We'll see if they show up in a week like they're supposed to.

So those are 33". I think I'm going to try 285/75R17 (probably Falken Wildpeak AT3W), which are 33.83". Will probably do +18mm offset wheels. Hopefully this will work!

No rubbing, trimming or modification on mine with the Bilsteins. Still very happy with the setup.
Cool, thanks. So those 275/70R18s are 33.16" diameter. I'm considering 285/75R17s, which are 33.83". I assume that'll fit....especially with reduced offset (looking at some +25mm Method wheels vs stock FX4 wheels at +44mm).

I am also trying to decide between the Toyo OC AT IIIs and the Falken Wildpeaks: https://www.expeditionforum.com/threads/toyo-open-country-at-iii-vs-falken-wildpeak-at3w.48939/ . I assume you like your Toyos?

Well, Bilsteins are going on next week and I ordered the 285/75R17 Toyo OC AT3 tires on Method 705 +25m offset wheels...

So we'll see if it all fits soon enough.

I'm running 285/60R20 BFG KO2's on stock XLT without issue which are 33.5" tall x 11.2" wide. I had 34's on my 2017 and before insurance came and picked it up I swapped them out on my 2019 to see if they fit which they did; however the rears we so close to what I'm calling the body mount of the fender inside that I wasn't comfortable running them and didn't want to trim metal at this point. After running the 33.5's now for 5 months I'm pretty certain I could have done the 34's without issue. I'll be doing the Bilstein's soon as well and know I'll be tempted to swap out for 34's.
