Leaking oil from the seal? What do you think?

2010 EL 4x4; 35K miles; passenger side

Did I blow the seal? Take a look, let me know what you think.....Covered under powertrain warranty?

As long as the truck is pretty much stock, then there is not going to be any question about Ford covering it. Can not see where something has hit the seal or the like. So, should be an easy fix for you as there isn't much that they can argue about.

Its a pretty common issue. I just had mine replaced back in September and it was covered under my Ford ESP. At 35K you should still be covered under bumper to bumper right??

They have to pull the half shaft and replace the seal.... about 1.3 hrs labor according to my invoice.

I'm in the powertrain now, but yes I believe its still covered-too bad its such a common issue- had a lot of annoying little issues in the first few years
