A 3 inch body lift is a good way to cheaply get lift without changing any of the factory suspension geometry. If you get the gap guards, no one will have any clue that it's a body lift.

The good thing is, that if you want more lift later, you can add a suspension lift without having to remove or replace anything that you've already done.

I have 3" body lift on my 97 and for a while with factory offset wheels 16X8 with 315/75/16 tires. Basically a 35" tire with no rubbing issues. I then upgraded to a rear spring spacer and Chevy front torsion keys to get another 2 inches or so out of it with 18X9 with Nitto Terra G. 325/65/18 which is a true 35" tire and a hair wider.

Who would you suggest I buy the 3'' body lift and gap guards through anyone in particular you recommend?
