If I do a 3 inch coil spacer on a 2wd Eddie Bauer 2001, will I have to replace control arms in the front??

Shouldn't have to. You will want to watch tire wear though when you do it in case you need an alignment and if you have not done ball joints yet, that would be a good time to do them.
