Lot of members here have lifted 2003-2006 expeditions with 4wd. NBX just means that you have different center caps on the wheels and possibly skid plates.

I chose to lift mine only 2" to keep it as close to factory ride quality and reliability as possible. You won't have any issues lifting as long as the balljoints and CV axles aren't binding or at too extreme an angle. I would say it rides better, I don't feel cracks in the road as much and it is slightly stiffer but not in a bad way.

Does anyone know where I can find a suspension and or body lift for the 2004

E-bay. Bought 3" front and 2" rear spring spacers for my wife's '04, cost me all of $105 shipped to my door. Have 285/70/17's (32.8") on the stock wheels, supposedly 315/70/17's (34.4") will fit on wider wheels with the correct backspacing.

I have a 2005 4WD just added leveling kit F: 3.5 R: 2.5 (ebay $125) also put on 35" on new 17x8.5 wheels (you will need a little trim on front lower wheel well lip, very minor and its plastic) . I have about a 800 miles on since. it ride great tracks great. When the suspension extends I do have a feeling that it is being maxed out ( I have had my mechanic re-tighten but need to check again in a couple hundred more miles) Its noting major but maybe a break in period. Also note that I replace my entire suspension, shocks springs bearing tie rod ends ball joints upper control arm and so on. which would account for the extra adjusting.
