Loud knock,No Power,No oil pressure

Okay guys needing some help here. Not sure if the cam phaser has anything to do with this or not. But as the title says no power loud knock and no oil pressure. Tried loading it on a trailer and it didn't even have enough to get up the ramps. Not sure what it could be. Any help is greatly appreciated

It's a 2003 with the 5.4l

If the oil pressure gauge on the dash is not moving, dont start the truck anymore. You need to obtain a manual oil pressure gauge to verify if the oil pump is working or not.

In case you don't know, anytime you have "0" psi oil pressure you immediately stop the engine. Failure to do so will cost thousands of dollars and turn your engine into an anchor weight.
In your case have it towed home or to a shop. Try turning the engine with a breaker bar and socket on the harmonic balancer bolt. If it doesn't move the engine is seized. If it does move I would suggest at least a tear down of the bottom end for inspection.

There's no cam phasers on the 2V motors used in the '03 Expy. May have broken the oil pump = no oil pressure + loud knocking . Is it running very rough as well? No power = trashed motor .

Sounds like you threw a bearing and possibly a rod. A bearing wouldn't account for the loss of power unless it caused serious damage when it went. It needs to have the oil pan pulled to confirm what is broken, and to identify the metal parts and shavings in the pan. Wish I could give you a more hopeful prognosis, but sounds like at a minimum you are looking at a short block.

The motor is trashed and I'm going to pull it and drop another into it. Thanks guys for all your help
