help. is my tranny doomed?

my stupid mechanic puts Mercon V instead of Mercon SP. He ran the engine and drove the car less than 2 miles. Picked up the car and drove it my place less than a mile. Then he showed me the pictures of the oil.

should i have it flushed right away? is my tranny doomed? i am panicking. help please.

The 6R80 takes Mercon LV, which has replaced SP. Drain, drive, and refill a few times to dilute the V.

I’ll say just replace it again with a new filter but put mercon LV

After replacing the fluid several times, make sure to then replace your mechanic.

Sometimes better to bring oil on transmission job…..unless u at dealer or Amaco shops.
