I have a 2000 Ford Expedition. It has around 158,000 miles on it. We bought it new off the show room floor in 2000. One of the many problem we are have now is the odometer keeps going off and on. Sometimes it will be blank for hundreds of miles......... Is this a common problem with this model? Also another problem is the compass and temp reading up in the top console has not worked for like forever. I can not remember when it quit. Same with the radio display it is blank too. Any ideas on what might be causing this? Thanks in advance...........Gary

the odometer is a common problem and also a easy fix you can look on you tube for a video on how to fix the odometer needs to be re-soldered

If you fix the compass and odo. you could just replace the radio unless you have the disk changer. but it may just be a solder problem too. If you do replace the radio it's super easy. the hardest part was soldering a harness together. after that it's plug&play

haven't had the radio problem so I can't offer any info on that The odometer problem takes about 1 to 2 hrs to do Just be careful when removing the plastic and the light switch I am sure that someone will post that they can do it faster Keep track of your screws and if possible use a magnetic driver
