On my new (to me) 2006 , 5.4 engine, has a slight miss in the morning when It's started up. It seems to go away after it's warmed up. It has 108,000 miles on it and had the engine seviced at 89K. Any clue what this would be??
Thanks for your help in advance.

Mine had a misfire on cylinder #8, replaced the coil and it took the miss away.. Still have the starting problem, which I think I figured out though.

Thanks Zombi, suppose I have to take it to a dealer to get that fixed?

No. Get a set of coils off of eBay for $100. Then take a 8 mm or 9mm socket ( dont remember which it was) and ratchet, take off that single bolt holding it down, unplug the harness from that coil and pull it off. Then just reverse the steps to reinstall. Do them one at a time.
