it looks as I'm missing a vacuum line here. I don't know what you call the cylinder there. But it looks to be attached to the coolant lines? I've seen other pics of under hoods and there is a line attached. I don't see anything hanging down on mine. Any help please would be awesome. Thx

don't you just love it when someone asks a question and they do expect answers but yet they also want you to be a mind reader and know what year, model, and engine they have And they don't even have it in thier profile

Are you looking at the climate control hot water control valve? That's what appears to be in the middle of your pic. There's only suppose to be one vacuum line INTO that valve, nothing else. The other side of the valve is just the actuation arm for the valve.

I apologize the bedrk but I did see that and put in my next post it was an 05. I didn't know there were different engines that came in our expeditions. It's a limited edition.

Hamfisted thx for trying to help. I'm not sure the name of the cylinder there but on top it appears to have a nipple that is missing something. I'll post a closer picture soon. Thx again for helping even though I didn't give all the info

I think that it's just a vent. That vacuum valve needs to have a vent on the back side to be able to open and close. I'm assuming that everything works fine?

tonydiv IS spot on just atmospheric vent, as vaccume is applied to the valve air is pulled in that nipple and will be expelled when released
