Did you change the fuel pumps in your truck.

Currently have single Aeromotive 340lph stealth pump. Ran # 10 wire back to pump and fused @ 30 amps. Stock pump line powers the relay.

When I put my lightning motor in I put the stock lightning injectors in they are bigger then the stock 5.4 injectors that could cause the running out of fuel.

The fuel cut is no longer an issue. It disappeared with SCT 2600 mass air and tune?! When I had data logged before stock lightning meter was getting just over 980 of 1024 counts so it was near pegged. Maybe it had something to do with it?! Don't really know but its gone now. Fighting surging idle now with new meter.

Tom, when does your idle surge start?

When it drops into closed loop. Neutral idle only I got the drive idle set pretty well. Air/fuel is set correct. When I have the adaptive learning mode turned off for tuning it is better but when I turn it back on it "learns" to surge. Have been playing with idle rpm vs expected mass air voltage table to try and help it but something is still off.

I know that ford would pull timing to ease the shift and smooth out the feel. You can feel it if you are thinking about it and it can be tuned out
