Just purchased an 09 lincoln navigator...what a beautiful beast. Drove 2 hrs to get her and must say shes exceeding my expectations drive wise. Theres a couple things i may need to address with her and some questions you guys may be so kind to answer:

The drivers seat heater is very slow in heating.

Slow windows

Clunky first gear and slight whine and pull

I plan on getting it a tune up the beginning of next year. Hopefully many happy and trouble free yrs with Neicy.

Nice rig! Congrats!

Driver's seat heater: These are different than most other cars, in that there is actually a coil under the seat that heats up, then a fan blows the warm air up through the perforations in the seat. It's not a heat pad directly under your butt like most cars. When you want the seats to cool, it uses the same fan to push air ducted from the air conditioner up through the perforations, but doesn't turn on the heat coil. Because of how this thing works, it does take a few extra minutes for the seat to get warm.

Slow windows: Yep...others may chime in but I don't think there's a good fix for this. It took me a while to get used to this as well, but I don't even think about it now.

Clunky first gear: My first thought is to get the software updated at the dealership. These transmissions are controlled by a computer and typically don't do things like that unless the computer is telling them to. Again, not an expert here but I've researched this enough to know that getting a software update on the transmission is step #1. Not sure what to think about your 'pull' and 'whine'...sorry.

Thanks

The seats in my '11 Expedition EL, generally, take awhile to heat up also.

As for the windows, I've found that to be a Ford thing - as are shoddy window motors. I can tell by the marks around the door clips and screws on my driver side door that someone previously had the door apart and I have no doubt it was to replace a window motor.
