Nav. System

My navigation system seems at times to stop tracking. I mean the gps seems to be working but its like the disc and the gps stops communicating. The disc is new, so I know its not the disc. Sometimes it will say I'm in the middle of cowhere or even a lake. Help!!!

Since its a new DVD map.. go through the nav menus again...there might be something you are missing (reset the dvd rom to read the new maps). I'm assuming that this is an OEM unit. you may need to change the regions (ie US1 for NW region, US2 for SW region, ect.)
Sorry I'm just tossing things out there.
