Hello everyone. Just a thought i came across as i am riding in my donkey kicking stealth non CCD (LOL).

I was wondering if the Navigator springs would fit on this truck? I know they are CCD shocks, and that the navigator does have a lower tower rating, but i am thinking that is because the vehicle has a softer spring.

Does anyone know if they would be able to swap over to the expedition?

I think it is more than just springs. You are into swaybars too. I got same machine than yours, a non CCD SPP. I plan on putting 18” rims and rubber on mine instead of the 22s. On the 2025 there are now 24” rims…

yea i know this topic has been beaten do death. eventually im gonna go 20s, but ever time i drive i think about it.

Its unfortunate that we dont know the spring tension on all of the vehicles it could make things a little easier.

I wonder where i could look to confirm

hmm. im on tasca parts and it looks like they share the same part numbers. Interesting. Must be the tuning as well (of course)

I wonder if anyone here has gone with the springs that are NOT with the HD tow package...

If you are going through all that time and expense, would it be impossible to just install the CCD? I don't know, just asking.
yea impossible. at this point there should be enough vehicles out there to trade for... another thread going in circles about this topic...

Expedition is at the dealership for another matter, but currently reviewing if they will put non HD towing shocks on. The guy behind the counter didn't seem super confident he could work it out, but asked them to try. Goal: go from HD Tow (Non CCD) to regular shocks (Non CCD)

Will update.
