I have read the forum for at least a year and finally had to register just to say thanks! My husband is not mechanically inclined and I was raised to take care of my vehicle, but I hate taking it the a mechanic or dealership to work on my truck. I can't tell you how many times I have gotten the "this is a dumb girl, she doesn't know what the halibut she is talking about," eye roll from the auto shop mechanics and auto parts store guys over the years when I roll up with my car full of kids (I'm a nanny). And don't get me started on the times they have tried to over charge me for parts, labor, etc. But see, I know how to read and I'm not afraid to do my research and try to fix something on my own. So to get back to my original point, THANKS! Thanks to this forum for helping me diagnose the issues I have had over the years with my beloved, but quirky truck. Specifically, the trouble codes, PCM,CJB,no start problems I have had for a year. Who knows how much I would have bent over and given the dealership if it wasn't for this forum. I took apart my fuse box this weekend and while I'm no expert on circuit boards I have some trusted friends and this forum to help me know this board doesn't look right. So I ordered a new one and when it comes in I will be installing that baby myself! In the south, us girls do like driving our trucks!
