Are these the ebay Chinese knock offs for about $90 or so, or OEM Ford units? Do you have to remove the bumper cover to install them?

Another HUGE thumbs down on putting HID's in them though. Sorry, but it is a Bart Simpson thing to do, and I curse then every time I see them and fry my retinas. If you want HID's get units made for them. Not halogen reflector units. I hope you don't think it is funny when other drivers are flashing you, their only way of communicating their opinion of your lights.

These would have been better for the mission I suspect:

Although, I do not think they look as good.

I would LOVE me a set of these! :

03-06 Expedition - 55 Watt HID / Bi-Xenon Projector Retro-Fit by Brian @ Sick HIDs .com in Nor Cal - YouTube

LOL!!! so you found that video on youtube...lol...do me a favor...look at the headlights in that video for a 03-06 expedition...then look at the "NOW" pic in my signature....lol...those are my lights!!! lol...that is www.sickhid.com...his name is brian and i bought those lights off EBAY and sent them to him where he opened them up...put in the CCFL halos...85w HID with shrouds that i picked out from his selection...and the switchback LED turn signals...i got those last year...lol...so those are done using the CHEAP EBAY headlights...

as far as putting HIDs in the headlights...i put them in my OEM lights and have never had anyone flash me...some ppl have more sensitive eyes...but i have never had someone flash me and i ran them for over a year before i got those ebay headlights retrofitted...lol

i still have the HIDs in my fogs and still have yet to have anyone in any state i've been in/through flash me...and i havent had any probs with the HIDs i bought off ebay for $35 per set....lol

i thought about having brian do my fogs too but dont want them with projectors...i want CCFL halos in the shape of the fogs...rectangle...but if i do have him retrofit them...i will paint the inside to match the truck or black

thanks for the compliment of wanting some headlights like mine...i kill them in car shows...and they are bright!!!

All the lights I find are ugly. These were the cleanest looking I could find. I would love a set of those lights. Just tell me where to get them

talk to brian...send him the black headlights you have and should be able to give you the projectors...halos like mine (different colors available too)...i dont believe he can do the amber delete...but if you wanted to...you could buy the lights above and send them to him to make them better...the halos and LEDs in those lights will be from halogen bulbs...he can swap them out with LEDs and give you LED halos or CCFLs...give him a call and send him this pic and he'll tell you what he can/cant do

I've got the same ones sitting in the garage waiting to go in, thought I'd try to mess with it before work today, got all the bolts out and I can't get either side to come out more than about a half inch, am I missing something? Any tips or tricks to get these damn things out?

Went with the ones in the pic. Came out sick. New grill will be here in a few days then the front will be done. Here's a peek

Looking pretty nice, I'm ordering my grille this week, going with horizontal billet powder coated black.

it may be catching on the inside of the grill...look for a notch on the headlight and press that area in to get it out

^ +1 there is a tab on that holds the lens on the headlight that likes to catch on the grill side of the bumper.
