Hi Guys and Girls. Just bought a 97 Expedition. Now what? Lol. I want to paint or replace the chrome grille surround and make it black, install a billet grille insert and see what I can do about the body roll I feel from the back when going around corners and bumps in the road. I have the factory air ride, not sure how it works with the lift kit....

Here's some pics...

Oh, it doesnt have the euro tails on it anymore and I replaced them with stockers. Lol. They are for sale though. ;)

Welcome to the forum. Great looking truck.

I just bought a very similar set of fender flares (if not the same ones). I was wondering, if you wouldn't mind, I would really appreciate if you could take some close up pictures of how you have them installed, as I am currently in the process and it has been pretty tricky for me so far.

Also, I just painted my chrome grille this weekend. Not sure how it will hold up, but here is how I did it. Sanded all the chrome with 60 grit and an electric palm-sander. Wiped it down with alcohol and clean cloth. Two coats of clear adhesion promoter (Duplicolor - 1 12 oz can). Two coats of gray hi-build sandable primer (Rustoleum - 1 12 oz can). Three coats of black bumper coating (Duplicolor - 2 12 oz cans).

Good luck with the grille and I'd really appreciate some pics of the fender flares. Thanks.
