Hey!
I got a 2007 Expedition Eddie Bauer last Friday and when test driving it seemed fine but ...of course now the worries start ;)

The following:

When I drive in 2H everything is perfect.
Switching to 4A or 4H works as well but while in those modes the truck shifts rough and a bit delayed. Also during and after curves it makes a noise that does not seem normal to me.

As I never had a newer Ford or 4WD I want to ask for your opinion before I return to the dealer -Ford dealer but not all close.

Thanks in advance!!

Eric

Did they provide any sort of warranty on the purchase? Some dealers around here give a 30 day warranty for powertrain stuff like that. Call them up and voice your concerns.

Not sure on the noises, since I have neither a 4x4 nor a 3rd gen, but usually, noises aren't good :p

Yeah I got a warranty and need to go back anyway so I will ask. It seems ok when driving straight all time an in 4A. 2H is perfect.

Well not sure... it's a bit strange.

Also when cold the 1st to 2nd gear shifts a bit rougher.
