i registerd many moons ago and im just slacking but im stepping back in to say hello and meet other expedition owners and check out their rides. mines a 98 xlt leather/loaded 4x4 getting ready to hit 200k mi and still ticking away on the oe 5.4L. this truck will eventualy get a new motor and whatever else blows up or wears out in time. ive loaned it out to a few friends w/chevy tahoes and they said it drives way nicer and runs better than their w/ a lil over 100k on the speedo..all i can say is proper maintenance will go a long ways :) ..... i recently took mine from the wife and got her a new car so this summer im planning a sas/regear w/true tracs front and rear along w/4.56 gears and custom arb style front bumper and a custom rear bumper . im a fabricator and an ase technician. i use to work at predator4wd in colorado building some sick jeeps but have since moved back down to FL and work for coca cola as a service tech. hope to hear from yall soon! i just recently replaced all the headlamps /markers w/new ones and put in a new optima red top along w/ 2/alpine 10's and a jvc dvd head unit and monitors in the seats for my kids

this was before the lift and tires when i got it stuck out on power line by myself its not stuck that bad but it would only move an inch both ways so i waited instead of burying it even deeper ...I waited 45 min for a friend to show but my son liked it

yeah, welcome aboard and very cool looking truck. FYI, it is not good maintainance that makes the expy drive better than the chevys with less miles, it is because they are chevys. And that is not obnoxious ford v chevy talk. I've driven friends tahoes and suburbans and they felt like junk. They seemed plasticky and flimsy and handled like they were 20 years older than they really were....imo
