So I purchased a clean title 2022 at auction last week with the front bumper/grill suffering from a collision . I just got it all stripped down and ready for new parts . I’m trying to get this back together as cheaply and quickly as possible .
My main question is how important is the radiator shutter assembly ? Will the car be drivable without the upper radiator assembly ? I priced one at the dealership and it was 1150.00 out the door .. I’ve also heard we can use the f-150 assembly ? I’ve found these for as low as 300 on eBay used.
this would save me damn near 2000.00 if the vehicle is fine without them . It’s summertime and I assume they’d be open non stop essentially anyways ?

Also the upper radiator support assembly/bar , is that the same on all 18+ expeditions ? The lady at the stealership seemed to think so , and if that’s the case I can find a 2018 expedition support for half the price that the 2022 expedition is listed at. I’m going to re use the isolator as it only has a few cracks , as well as the planted lower bumper pieces - they’re cracked and rough , but will get me on the road faster. Also included a picture of part of the grille assembly and the two painted pieces I’m referring to
