No air flow through floor or defrost vents - 2010 Limited

I have a 2010 Limited Expy with the automatic climate controls, and have intermittent (read:mostly no) floor or defrost function. I replaced the YH1881 HVAC Mode Door Actuator at the request of a friend that works at an auto AC shop. Disconnected the battery, did not rotate the shaft on the actuator, pulled the HVAC fuse from the passenger side kick panel and let it reset, and the mode would change when the key was in accessory position, but once I started the truck up it went back to vent only. Every once in a while it will randomly switch to floor or defrost. It doesn't bother me too much, but it drives my wife nuts. Any insight would be appreciated.
