No Ashtrays in my 05 EB Expy

I just realized that there are no ashtrays in my 05 EB Expedition - which is okay with me because I don't smoke. I think this is the first vehicle that I have ever owned that didn't have them. Were they optional on the 05s?

yeah think that started in 2000's...give u a cigeratte lighter and no ash tray...thats a way for ppl to quit smoking

For the smoking package all Ford did was give you a cup that was a perfect fit to go into your cup holder but other than that there's no ash tray.

Starting in 2000, you actually got the cigarette lighter outlet, with a plastic plug. The actual lighter came with the 'ash cup' .

In some of their vehicles, Ford just took the ash trays and lined them with fabric and deleted the lighter element, until they could redesign the dash.

They started making cocaine not as pure as they used to in the 80's. I mean I don't do cocaine but does anyone have any information on this

I got the lighter w/o ash cup...threw it away...don't smoke and don't let company smoke in my truck

I'm grateful to find a non-smoking truck in such great condition. I really like it.
