My new to me expedition(wisconsin) was starting to rust out on the rocker panels.
Ordered a set from Browns of two rivers for a 2006, local body shop welded them on for $1600.
Very happy with them. Great fit!!

Next up is the passenger side exhaust manifold....

Great forum! very helpful

Sorry, but all posts like this must be accompanied by several pictures. ;)

Yes pics!!!! I had planned on doing the same as you with my last 2007. I ordered a set of 2006 panels (still have) from KeyStone and had talked to my body shop about doing them. I got into an accident with ol’ red and it was totaled out. I bought my current 2007 Eddie Bauer and the rocker panels were newly replaced already so no rust.

My 2014EL has (what I believe to be) rocker panels with (close to) ZERO rust.
I attribute this to annual flushing, plugs in the holes, oil surface treatment(s)
I've posted pictures of this in the past

and this is in upstate NY
