Odd Feeling

Hello everybody, I have 2000 Expy XLT 5.4L w/ 160k miles on it. Here recently, I have been feeling something odd in the steering wheel. I would say it feels like a popping sensation. It doesn't occur constantly, but it does intermittently. There is not one set thing that will cause it. It will do it whenever I accelerate, turn at slow speeds, brake or hit bumps. I have checked the sway bar end links and they're fine, but everything else looks fine. So, any ideas? Any and all help will be appreciated!

I would say check your ball joints, tie rods and other steering joints. Use a prybar and see if you have any movement. If you can see it moving, its probably bad.
