So I have another weird noise on this thing… Hopefully someone here can diagnose it, because Im completely stumped! And so are three other people I have talked to about it…
Once the car is started and I apply the gas pedal I can hear what sounds like trickling or running water. This happens at park, neutral, and drive, but only once the gas pedal is applied. Does not happen while idling. It does gradually go away while driving it. However it comes back if it sits for a short or long period of time.
It is running great, so this is another reason why Im stumped.

Last weekend I put in a new radiator and a new water pump (with new coolant obviously).

Sounds like their is an air bubble in the system. I would say that what you are hear is the water flowing threw the heater core. The heater core is like a small radiator in the dash. I would also say that is were the air bubble is. Mine does that as well. I am not sure if their is a real way to fix it or not. If you take it to a shop and have them hook it up to pressurize the system. This might help. But keep in mind. If you have the rear heater stuff in the rear cargo side deals. Their is all lot of piping to go threw.

If their is no wet floor or wet floor smell, a puddle under the truck. Then I would not really worry bout it. The air bubble should work itself out after a while.

I only think this because u mentioned that u just replaced the rad and water pump.

You need to burp your cooling system, take the cap off of the radiator, run the motor and let it run for a good 45 minutes with the heat on full blast, watch and see if the coolant goes down and keep filling it up until it no longer goes down. Put cap on, and ride out

Tried that before I even posted this… It didn't work… Been driving it for a week now, and the sound is still there. Its never overheated, and the fluid level has not changed…
