Hey guys,

I want to get a little mud on the car. Nothing serious, it's only a 2x4, not a 4x4.

Does anyone have any ideas on where to go off road in NJ for a little fun?

Thanks,

Alex

I know there are places in NJ... was stationed at McGuire from 03-09 but I used to go around the tank trails there... I know there are better places just don't remember how to get there since I just followed people

There's lots of mud and water crossings down in the pines but you'll want 4wd and alot of lift for the deep stuff. There's also miles of fire roads there that are doable in a 2wd. If you go up north there's miles of dirt roads and fire roads in the Delaware water gap all the way up to near Stokes State Forest. Check out Tillmans Ravine and Buttermilk Falls, it's dirt roads all around there (easy 2wd) but the scenery is great and lots of spots to hike etc...

Thanks Dharma.

I think the real solution here is to find myself another 1st gen Expy like I used to have. Get back to a proper 4x4 and take it out to get it dirty.
