overhead console door

anybody know where I can find a replacement door for the sunglass holder. It kept falling down so I bent it with my thumb (knowing how this would end) it broke. Now I can not get just the door, I have to buy the entire overhead console p/n 519A70 according to the ford site. Any ideas from you guys would be appreciated as it is $449. Unfortunately I have not had good luck at our local salvage yards. It is an 06 with tan interior no RES or sunroof. Thanks, Mike.

Heh, I just stuffed a napkin in there to hold the door shut. Can't really notice it too much.

car-part.com site allows you to check bone yards for parts in stock. prob wont list that exact part but find one with the color interior you have and give them a call about just the door.

thanks guys - for some reason the new site is not emailing me when there are replies. Definitely will keep checking the boneyards and try the two sites listed. Just one little irritating thing, but was hoping to find an easy (less expensive) solution. Gonna try silconing the old one back together and move on from there because I broke more stuff trying to figure out how to get it down. Thanks, Mike

Actually just fixed last nite. Not to sure about endless possibilities, but a salvage yard a few hours away posted one on eBay. So if anybody needs a shroud for an Expy, minus the sunglass holder, I have one. I may start messing around with it some though and decide if I can do any cool stuff to it. I was going to put the GPS up there, but I am the 1% that uses the conversation mirror. Thanks, Mike.
