Hello.

I've got a 2015 EL XLT with 181,***.
We keep getting the P430 code.

We have replaced the cat, the owner before us said he replaced the cat. And some 02 sensors have been replaced.

I do not know why this code keeps coming back or what to do moving forward.

You said some oxygen sensors have been replaced. Why didn’t you replace all of them (4)?

Idk. IDK what needs done.

I guess the mechanics didn't feel like it was necessary?

I bought a new 2015 Expedition Limited 4x4. Several times it set a check-engine light and code, each time pointing to a specific oxygen sensor (which was replaced by the dealer each time).

The code P0430 often points to catalytic converter inefficiency - which in my experience with other cars, is always the after-cat sensor(s). The 3.5 ecoboost engine has two after-cat sensors.

Perhaps see if your service person has replaced the after-cat sensors?

The 2015 3.5 Ecoboost engines were known to have small exhaust leaks due to broken exhaust manifold bolts. Ford issued redesigned exhaust manifolds that had additional bolt holes, to hold them more securely.

Several broken exhaust manifolds bolts were also replaced on my vehicle by the dealer, under Ford’s service plan, but there were no codes set.
