We bought a 2008 Expedition in April. There was a brake problem on the passenger side causing overheating. The fix was to replace brakes and brake line.

Next got a misfire on cylinder 8. Replaced COP and fixed it.

Now when using cruise control, we get wrench light and P2135 error if accelerating. Have replaced throttle body, spark plugs, COP, gas pedal and both pig tails for wiring. Two shops have ran diagnostics but didn't find anything ( one was a Ford dealership).

What could it be?

If 2 shops couldn't find it and you replaced all that everyone in here will just be speculating unless maybe someone had exactly the same symptoms. Tell us more about exactly what happens.

When using cruise control, if you accelerate by either using the + on the steering wheel or the gas pedal the wrench light comes on and it goes into limp mode. Have to turn engine off and restart to clear code.
