Possible to remove third row bench without folding it?

The 60 side of my 60/40 split third row will not fold down. Troubleshooting has turned up nothing so I need to get it out. I may just leave it out.

Has anyone done that without being able to fold it to make accessing all the bolts easier?

Any tips?

My Gen 3 second row middle seat would not fold down and it was a small cable that pulls a little catch down by the track. I would look for a wire cable, like a bicycle brake cable that needs to be tugged to loosen the catch.
