Power seat not working

2008 EB - drivers power seat will not move forward or back. Same switch controls raising and lowering seat, which works fine. Has anyone had same problem - and/or is this something I can fix? Thanks

take a small hammer and tap on the motors under the seat some times they stick, if not the switch may have gone bad

My 03 did this while on vacation once. I was so pissed since the seat was stuck all the way back. Basically what happens is the motors bind and get stuck from what I had read. I had to take mine into the dealer and luckily I had 26 miles left on my extended warranty after driving home from the beach.
